  1. Keep everything safe — sanitize, hygiene, keep risk an hazards under wraps.
  2. Mise en Place — “Everything In It’s Place,” before you begin your cook. Put out all ingredients and needed utensils, everything pre-measured/portioned, at your station before you begin.
  3. Use focused breathing as you work.
  4. Use intentional motion — every move has a purpose.
  5. Be creative, curious, explore — have a little sense of adventure and imagination.
  6. Put everything into a learning perspective. “No mistakes; just learning.”
